HERTZ – TRAVELEX LLC, Hertz franchisee in Armenia
These Rental Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern the rental and use of vehicles operated under the Hertz brand by TRAVELEX LLC, Hertz franchisee in Armenia (“Company”, “Lessor”, “Hertz”).
By making a reservation, signing the Rental Agreement, receiving or using the Vehicle, the Renter confirms full understanding and acceptance of these Terms.
Drivers under 21, over 70, and/or with less than 3 years of driving experience may drive ONLY WITH FULL INSURANCE.
Only drivers listed in the Rental Agreement are permitted to drive.
Any violation results in insurance voidance, full liability, and deposit retention.
Transfer or use of the Vehicle by unauthorized third parties is strictly prohibited.
Penalty: AMD 500,000 + insurance voidance + full liability.
Amount: AMD 300,000 – 800,000 (depending on vehicle class)
Blocked for up to 30 days
Visa / MasterCard credit or debit cards only
Cash deposit not accepted
Deposit release depends on the issuing bank
The Company may retain the deposit partially or fully, including for minor damage.
Office hours (City):
Monday–Friday: 10:00–18:00
Saturday: 10:00–15:00
Sunday: non-working day
Any transaction, vehicle pick-up, return, delivery, or service before/after working hours, as well as on Sundays, public holidays, and national holidays, is subject to an extra fee of AMD 5,000.
Child seat: AMD 5,000
Booster seat: AMD 3,000
Portable Wi-Fi: AMD 2,000
Additional driver: AMD 2,000
Chauffeur service: AMD 15,000 per day (up to 10 working hours)
Delivery within Yerevan: AMD 10,000
Delivery outside Yerevan: upon request
One-way rental (City → Airport): AMD 5,000
Any off-road driving is strictly prohibited.
Consequences: contract termination, insurance voidance, full liability, deposit retention, and penalty of AMD 500,000.
Insurance does NOT cover:
Interior damage
Loss/damage of keys, documents, license plates
Tires and rims
Additional equipment (Wi-Fi, child seats, etc.)
Any off-road use
Full liability of the Renter
Damage to one tire requires replacement of two tires on the same axle
Cost based on current market price
Insurance does not apply
Pets are allowed only with prior approval.
The Vehicle must be returned clean. Additional or chemical cleaning is charged if required.
Vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level.
Missing fuel is charged at AMD 1,000 per liter + VAT.
Up to 1 hour: free
2–3 hours: AMD 5,000
Over 3 hours: one full rental day
The Vehicle must not be used for races, towing, driving lessons, taxi, ride-hailing, courier, or goods transportation.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia.
All disputes are resolved exclusively in Armenian courts.
